Those songs infuriate me, Walmart does the same thing too. They always sound like some mediocre dude/dudette just banged them out in an afternoon over some knockoff karaoke backing track. As somebody who tries to appreciate when music has a lot of effort or technical skill or even deep emotion put into it, those songs are an affront to me in every way that matters.

Finally starting to get some free time lately so I got Game Pass back, I played a bunch when it first came out and had a lot of fun, I’m excited to start a new playthrough with all the updates and now mod support as well.

I’ve been dealing with this for over 20 years and no matter what my level of activity or diet has been, that’s never changed. I used to run marathons and was in excellent shape for years, and it never made me any less bipolar/depressive at all, that’s how I know.
This has some real ‘just go touch some grass’ energy. You sound like my brother who after a decade of telling me that my mental health issues are my fault because I don’t live the way he does, still can’t seem to comprehend that fucked-up brain chemistry is a thing that exists. All the salads and fresh air in the world won’t suddenly fix my neurotransmitters and just magically correct the fundamental dysfunction up there. Maybe don’t act like you know what will fix me if you don’t even understand what’s wrong with me.

They’re a lot better these days, but I remember 15 years ago I had to spend hours in a command line just to get Linux to recognize my video card, much less utilize it properly. It’s definitely come a long long way but still far from perfect
