Super common here in Germany that sensitive data is handled via crappy apps that essentially have backdoors.

Yours has releases right, like Ubuntu so then you are not set for life. At a certain point it makes sense to start from a new release.

When one of these is corrupted then it’s all for nothing lol. I mean CD Rom was so ubiquitous here by 95, 98 that this idea seems silly but I guess it existed.
