At one of my previous employers, there was an intranet website where the nav menu would only work correctly in edge in IE compatibility mode. I’m not sure how they even managed this. I only used edge for that one website though, Firefox for everything else.

Just keep trying. But totally alienating your friends also won’t do much good for the whole perception of the movement. Becomes a lot easier to just think of that weird guy who won’t talk to us anymore because of some app, rather than what it’s actually about.

I’m all for getting off anything meta, but come on. Someone not wanting to move to a chat service that’s probably less convenient for them does not make them a “so called ‘friend’” lmao.

I don’t buy them because yubico is american. Nitrokey is a German alternative, been really happy with mine so far.
I can use the tablet just fine, I did say it’s a fine tablet overall. It just feels worse to use than my phone with a 144Hz display, and it feels like an odd choice when most phones have >60Hz displays.
I’m running grapheneos on my pixel tablet. My biggest complaint is that the screen is only 60Hz, makes the whole thing feel more sluggish than my phone. Otherwise it’s a fine tablet.
So all you’re doing is using btrfs snapshots? Don’t most distros that use btrfs by default already do this?
I didn’t see any way if posting data, so I guess there’s not really a reason for them to use ssl. Their forum is using ssl at least.
So why is btrfs bad? Is it just because oracle bad or is there an actual reason?
Afaik btrfs was developed by a person at oracle, but not for or by oracle.
So did you ever find a proper fix for the crash session restore on a regular shutdown? (Assuming that’s the issue you were having)

We’re not quite out of the woods yet. They did suffer big losses, but that just means they’re tied now in number of seats. The left wing party is slightly ahead in votes though.
There’s still the votes from emigrants to be counted, so that could still change.
I’ve only had the nitrokey for a few months, so can’t comment on the durability yet.
I did have a yubikey before. My experience with them wasn’t great, I often had to re-plug in the key because the touch to activate thing was pretty unreliable for me, often just not responding to touch at all.
Though ultimately the reason I chose nitrokey is because I was just looking for a European alternative.
I don’t think it was a user-agent thing. The nav menu would just functionally not work on other browsers. Iirc it just showed every menu in the expanded state. They probably used some IE exclusive JavaScript methods without any polyfills.
