Their “explanation” was “it uses ultraviolet light”. Then they say they can’t explain it because nobody can understand it. Even if it were possible to electronically manufacture vegetables, what would be the advantage? How much electricity, equipment, and raw material would it take compared to conventional farming? What are those raw materials, and what does it require to produce them?
That’s the part that too many people don’t get. Communes and co-ops can work great in small communities, but they have NEVER worked, and WILL never work for a large country. There are some things that are scalable and some things that aren’t. Communism is a perfect example of a system that isn’t scalable.
Nobody gets to the crux of a topic like Philomena Cunk. I wish all journalists were more like her.
