Not sure, but the message that it is not secure is displayed on the website when you message anyone. I would presume that anyone who knew what they were doing and wanted to target you would be able to figure it out one way or another if they were determined enough.

Everyone should care

You might be surprised: Hunting in the US alone generates 12 BILLION dollars a year in taxes alone (not including any other outdoor activity, license fees, or related revenue).

Public parks generate over 200 billion all by themselves every year, these are only parts of the equation too.

The more you look into it, the more you realize that, holy shit, this stuff generates a fuckton of revenue for the government (never mind all the other benefits it has).

Even if nobody gave a single fuck about the environment or humanity’s future, the financial benefits alone are a very compelling argument (unless, you know, these aspects are ignored because politicians are in the pockets of oil companies)

Can tax or charge for other things like hunting licenses, equipment, ammo, guides, camping permits, etc.

Stuff like silica gel can work fine, but you need to use a lot of it in an enclosed space (even better if you can circulate warm air through it) but, yeah, airflow does work just fine pretty much anywhere.

Acrylic for sure, I think it can damage some screens too. Acetone will definitely mess up a lot of stuff.

Immediately remove the battery/power, then use a bunch of silica gel packs that have been dried out instead of rice: They’re commonly available and won’t get into things and cause problems down the road. Alternately, just take it apart as much as you can and set it in front of a fan to dry out.

Keep in mind, it might be too late but it’s worth a try.

If you really want to try and save it and are tech savvy, try tearing it down and giving it an isopropyl alcohol bath but if you aren’t, it’ll do more harm than good. Keep in mind ISO can damage some parts.
