As someone that had a sterile childhood of all work and fenced play in Singapore - that sounds like an amazing and well-lived childhood, for the most part.

I feel down. I haven’t felt happy in a long while / few months. The danger of depression is there but I believe I’m not at that stage yet.
I’m down because I’ve made no progress at a project for work for a few months now. Everything seems to be breaking and out of my control, it’s a bit tiresome to deal with. Plus the Tariffs have derailed whatever FI plans I had, so I’m pretty much stuck here.
During lunch with my colleagues today some of them expressed that my home country is desirable to live in from a security and convenience perspective (from Singapore). But Singapore is also soul-less and boring, and that irks me. I still want to have the chance to live overseas in a cooler and more relaxed climate, but yeah with the job market being shit and tariffs ruining everything, I might be stuck in Singapore for life.
Local SG here, as far as I know direct underground connections between buildings are only common within the city area - head to the heartlands / fringes and you’ll see some sunlight
I tried Google Maps Live View (i.e. AR View) to navigate underground, but it’s a hit or miss.
My feed on Instagram is filled with Nature / Science Documentaries, Comic and Cartoons Reels (Pokemon, Tom and Jerry, etc). But sometimes comments will exhibit the usual shenanigans (i.e. “I don’t believe in evolution”), or accounts that used to be legit suddenly devolve into advertisement spam.
I make sure my preferences are kept by liking the content / posts that cater to them so the algorithm shows me more of them. Of course, I also set a timer on Android so that I don’t spend too much time on the platform (20 mins a day)
Yes - after I nearly drowned in the ocean as a child, I was promptly enrolled in swimming lessons.
Maybe it would be a more difficult choice if it was between Intelligence or Constitution (i.e. physical health)
Intelligence can be attractive too! And even in the cases where it’s not, I think I can always go for surgery or something if it’s really that bad.
Intelligence can be learnt, but it’s much harder than say, correcting one’s facial features or getting into shape imo.
Climate, not being able to retire on time
Thank you for the encouragement!
To get a better job than the one I have now. But the effort required to study for interviews is rather daunting…

I used to memorize the Greek Alphabet when I was young
Alpha Beta Gamma Delta Epsilon Zeta Eta Theta Kappa Lambda Mu Nu Rho Tau Sigma Upsilon Phi Chi Psi Omega
There are 24 letters in the Greek Alphabet, so I missed 4.

LMAO where is this picture from
Hmm, wonder if I should attempt to do the same for my old Intel Laptop; currently not using because the Disk Read / Write seems pretty slow (HDD, constantly at 100%)
Eh, I usually just lurk, unless I have something meaningful to contribute (which is rare, my mind is blank and tired most of the time)
