I explored the settings for conversations, since I was looking to prevent media, like pictures, videos and such, from being placed under gallery, since that’s what conversations is doing.

Unfortunately I didn’t find any setting for that, not even under the expert settings, :(

      Well, other apps don’t store anything on the gallery directories by design, and other offer an opt out. In such cases they keep downloaded stuff in their own directory. So I’m not sure I can blame the LOS gallery app, since this is something apps getting content can manage on their own, by placing stuff in a different directory. But I see your point.

      What I’ve certainly confirmed with the answers is that definitely conversations doesn’t offer such opt out features…
