it’s just laughable this guy is taken seriously or considered principled by anybody. beyond obviously being anti-“free speech” this is literally less principled than and a regression from previous Twitter policy, which was generally to take the throttling even if it meant people lost access to the website. i cannot believe there is a world in which i am defending Twitter Jack, but he was at least better on this front than Elon

And apparently he promised to release the censorship demand, but I haven’t been able to find anywhere where he has yet. Given this is about censoring opposition politicians, and polls in apparently Türkiye open in four and a half hours, releasing it after the election wouldn’t be very meaningful.

I have noticed that wealthy oligarchs like Musk, Trump, Putin and Ergodan (well at least if the leaked million dollar transfers through tax havens are anything to go by, at least his former teacher brother in law Ziya Ilgen, and his brother Mustafa are doing well for themselves: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11cn9C-4gguY5x4wpbkn4bRJ8Qd3zfZKm/preview) often seem to be “free speech absolutists” when it comes to each other’s speech, but not so much when it comes to their critics.
