minus-squaregrill@thelemmy.clublinkfedilinkarrow-up2·18 days agoAFAIK, you can’t crop them automatically and even dynamically if a movie has more than one aspect ratio. You also then get problems with image-based subtitles (PGS), which you can fix automatically in mpv.
