I was reading the Promise Mascot Agency art book and it really illustrates (no pun intended) why AI will never be able to create art.

Art is a team process, created by people sharing their experiences and culture. It starts from the very beginning and lasts the entire project. Even simply using genAI to create concepts completely negates this.

    Vincke was saying that designers (non-artists) are able to use gen-AI to iterate their descriptions of what they are looking for instead of going back and forth with concept artists before they even know what they want.

    This is part of the collaborative creative process, removing the human element from it only devalues the end product.
