    Catholics have one too, St. Joseph the Worker Day. First celebrated in late middle ages, usually in march or april since it depended on date of easter, but moved to 1st may by none other than the pope Pius XII and promoted hard by John Paul II, unsurprisingly both best known for anticommunism.
