I’m only 1100 rated, and haven’t checked with an engine.
My guess is that after 10. … qd7, 11. Bxf7 gxf7 makes the king too vulnerable. If you had played 10. … ng6, then you could take with the queen and 11. Bxf7 isn’t as strong. Your pawns can stay unstacked and play can continue
I need to open my mind a little more. I never saw that first move as an option.
