vet myself? Do you think I have a copypasta prepared for all of my views with cited sources? And I’m sure as hell not going to do that now because someone on the internet told me to.

Then you see why China might have a motive to support creators like this.
Everyone is pushing misinformation campaigns on everyone else. Everything is suspect, not just western media.
keep screamin
Why so mad? lolol
EDIT: Nope, stupid argument. I dont care
I’m just suggesting the possibility. Idk any more than you do.
Probably because I came to comment on the source and people dog-piled about how I hate China… The accusations are untrue and the crazy amount of brigading makes it impossible to take this seriously.
Didn’t say it was propaganda. Just too fishy for me.
Yah, lol, I have discovered this. Honestly I’m intrigued.
Never said it was
I’m deeply ashamed of my country.
You determine whether that opinion is trustworthy or not by watching the video and seeing if the conclussions he puts forward make sense to you.
You simply think that you cannot be persuaded to believe something that is not true; that you would see through it if that were the case. You’re wrong and you should learn to accept this. Protect yourself, don’t allow garbage in.
Again, you suggest that people with no credibility actually have MORE credibility than anyone elswe. This is batshit
That’s the entire point of this thread
I’m not here to be swayed. Idk why everyone keeps trying to persuade me one way or the other. I just pointed out how this source is shit.
Again, it’s not my job to sit here and vet a list of links. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
The problem is that the creator of the video is able to cherry-pick their information and weave it into the narrative that they want. There may not be anything wrong with the source information and the result can still be deeply misinformed.
The pollution is the direct result of other countries outsourcing their manufacturing to exploit chinese labor for increased profits
The Chinese government allows this… Why is this the fault of everyone else? It’s the government’s job to regulate the industry and manage trade.
and they’re rapidly reducing that pollution with the infrastructure investments I mentioned.
Agreed. I hope it continues. I wish we could get BYD in NA.
The censorship is clearly necessary, as evidenced by the US getting absolutely bodied by relatively simple online disinfo campaigns.
I don’t disagree. But it is censorship; just calling it like I see it. It has both pros and cons.
And the ethnic cleansing is fictional, fucking duh. Uighurs are directly represented in the ruling party, their language is present in official documents and on their currency.
I would present evidence, but there is no evidence that you would accept so it’s kind of meaningless.
Xinjiang is literally open to foreign tourism right now, you could go there yourself and learn better in person.
I would love to go. Hopefully international relations will improve.
lol, it wasn’t. Ya’ll are mindwashed.
I do. There’s a TON of international media that corroborates the information, but I know that you all stand from a perspective of: It didn’t happen and if someone says it did, they’re full of shit.
That’s not something that can be overcome. That’s fine; I don’t hold hate for you. Just clearly will not be persuading you so i won’t try.
