I mean, not really sure here where we are going. If the workers were even half way towards interest in the socialist party. Claudia De La Cruz got what .1% of the vote in 2024? If there’s actual momentum to a 3rd party vote in a way we can feasibly see a path to victory I’m all for it. The way I see it we have 2 very fucking long shots. There’s trying to infiltrate the democratic party and gradually turn it into a party that helps people. Or there’s creating a new party and expect it to pass all of the insane hurdles to get on every ballot and then, find a way to actually get a competitive amount of votes, while hoping the faccism slide doesn’t hit fast enough that elections won’t exist before we get votes.

Sadly… that doesn’t really track with Christianity.
I mean you can add the overall benefits of everyones needs are automatically met. There’s no talk of toiling for food etc…
But on top of the automatic fact that angels clearly have a hierarchy, god is clearly a full power ruler, there’s tons of verses that talk about people that will be the least in heaven, or greatest in heaven (Matthew 5:19). On top of building treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19) etc…

if only you and dead people could read hex, how many people can read hex?
I married the first person that answered it correctly… well married in an MMORPG.
Kind of some level of any system isn’t it? In short if a system has a means to power that can tweak the rules. Inevitably will result in one group ceasing the rules, turning them to raise how much they can tweak them, and ensuring they continue to be tweaked in their favor.
Communism relies on a possibly impossible starting point. Theoretically if the starting point were reached, it seems the most sustainable. Whether it’s possible to reach that starting point is the great mystery.
TheFogan@programming.devto Memes@lemmy.ml•If you see this message in your DMs...English5·2 months agoI’m thinking, it’s an attempt to be more succesful with nerds like us? I gotta admit I thought it was possibly a real person the first time I saw it, I’m more than desensitized to supermodel looking asian pictures from when I was on dating apps and occasionally reddit. I’m guessing just a non horny, non model, claiming to be studying in STEM is trying to avoid the obvious red flags for people that know supermodels probably aren’t into them.
It’s possible to assume that the professor did the math.
But yeah any time machine would also basically have to have space travel built in to compensate.
They knew that when they wrote Dr Who (IE the time travel machine is called a TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space).
well worth noting if you do have it set to say syncronize (mine goes to nextcloud but the app has options for file system, dropbox, onedrive, webdav). The syncronized version will be all plain text .md files in markdown language. simple enough to point something else to that directory.
It’s also just markdown text files, saved locally (but syncronizable to cloud/webdav etc…). So in short, yeah you can move things back and forth between joplin and obsidian, or one of many many markdown editors.

I mean the logic isn’t entirely wrong… though at least familiarize with snippits. I mean I don’t have to read Mein Kamph to say Naziism is evil.
Of course, there is a huge difference, even in snippits and small amounts of information it’s quite clear that all nazi followers, support racism.
While modern marxists do not call for violence etc… and specifically is calling for changing of things that, are not physical traits that require bloodshed.

and if you are white, they will say you defended yourself. (Results may vary if you aren’t… you may be held for murder, or shot on sight).
had the native american’s been smart enough to build a wall across the ocean… none of this mess would have happened.
Somehow I half expect to find out space X through some crazy means accidentally stumbled into time and interdimensional travel. He will bring in another dimensions hitler, argue it’s a good guy… Trump will explain that this one’s ok because in his dimension none of the people he killed were called jews, so he’s ok, Hitler will meet with Nyetnyahu, the 2 will quickly become friends and the republicans will declare opposing alt-hitler as anti-semetic.
TheFogan@programming.devto Memes@lemmy.ml•There are also no good Switch games (I refuse to buy any and only download the free ones from the eShop)English5·3 months agoand that’s a thing to me, IMO I don’t think that there wasn’t potential to make good mobile phone games… or say for developers of phone games to default to allowing a standard clip controller etc…
But even with the basic limitations of a phone as a controller, it’s worth noting that the real fall of mobile gaming was just the rise of the shitty, microtransaction to progress games. That can be seen with the trajectory of even games that were origionally well loved mobile games, hopping on that bandwaggon (IE angry birds, plants vs zombies etc…)
TheFogan@programming.devto Memes@lemmy.ml•There are also no good Switch games (I refuse to buy any and only download the free ones from the eShop)English32·3 months agoHonestly the reality is mobile games just developed a horrendous development culture and incentive base.
What I find kind of baffling is why did mobile gaming manage to effectively kill pocket sized gaming systems. IE I’m seeing the positive sign of the semi-portable systems. IE Switch and steamdeck…
But the gameboys and PSPs were basically killed by mobile phones. But they offered, basically quality games… yes 4+ generations behind existing PCs and consoles. But fun complete games that were worth $20-$50 to drop, and actually get many hours of fun out of.
Geeze, so fricking ridiculous. Though I also have to ask… why the hell is europe “abstained” on that one. You’d think the guys that were wrecked by WW1 would be first in line to say “Fascism is bad”.
I think that part was obvious, I think the real question is, what the fuck is a bill to “Denounce” anything.
Seriously, I assume there’s a bill to “Denounce” facism too right? Can we get a bill to say “nickleback isn’t very good?”.
What exactly is a bill with no actual prescriptions?
Good news… mine says “my heart goes out to you”.
“Why should I trust a bunch of randos with it? Why should I give them my password? […]”
lol that right there you should respond no one should have your PASSWORD (singular) to begin with. Companies large and small have data breaches all the time. If the same password is on more than 5-10 sites, you should assume it’s been compromised by now, and explain that they need a password manager.
Far as it goes with professional companies, we are talking public posting social media, the differences between them are all public, the biggest thing is what they chose to censor. Twitters cool with letting nazi’s speak, but censoring the left. Most lemmy instances are the opposite, but there even are lemmy instances that are backwards with that… which is the point. We all have differing oppinions on where the line should be drawn on acceptable speech, Being able to custom pick one of 50 groups is more likely to find one that works for you, than picking one of 3 social media giants that will have their own rules.
