If you are looking for a good OS for privacy I would recommend Qubes OS, it completely blows away pretty much everything else besides tails. Gentoo is not exactly the most private of operating systems apart from the usual linux privacy.

One neat little distro is bedrock linux. Its pretty sweet being able to grab packages from the aur on something like Debian.

As I’ve heard it, wireguard is much more secure.

Sorry I’m new to the networky world of things, could someone explain what TLS and DNS (seen it in settings here and there) are, and the differences between them.
