Communism is just socialism-flavored fascism.
Hot take: forcing children to pledge allegiance should be more concerning than the exact posture they are ordered to make while doing so.

The official term is Lemmings.
That’s a very quaternionphobic list.

I can't.English2·7 months agoThe capitalists want to solve the problem of people not being incentivized to work (or to work harder) because their increased income will decrease their welfare benefits. Capitalism’s solution, as you’ve said, is to destroy the system - remove the problem entirely by removing the benefits. But just because you don’t agree with that solution (I did say that “either side will fight to the death to prevent the other side from implementing their solution”) doesn’t mean they don’t see it as a problem to be solved.

Should Greece really be on that list? The only criterion where it’s not grayed out is “Awarded Parts of China to Japan”, which actually means “signed the Treaty of Versailles after WWI”. And unlike many of the other countries that signed it, Greece did not get anything to itself from it.

AeonFelis@lemmy.worldto Memes@lemmy.ml•Another valuable life lesson from Elmo and friends!English9·8 months agoHave you consulted with a lawyer about this? The laws differ from place to place, but I’d be worried the equity you give him may also grant him some sort of claim on the house, which would mean he gets a say on financial things related to the real estate. This can complicate things in the future.
Also - what does “percentage of revenue if we end up keeping and paying it off years later” mean? That after he leaves you will pay him for his share in your house?
XML is good for markup. The problem is that people too often confuse “markup” and “serialization”.
