This was discussed on /r/Linuxmemes. And basically, everyone there agrees that, as much as we’d like that to happen, it won’t.
Just like there are still people running Windows 7 on their laptops because “that’s what was installed on it, I already got used to it, F**k OFF”, people will just keep their Win10 installs as long as they physically can. No one likes Windows, but people hate change even more.
That tracks. When 8 came out, people stuck with 7. When Vista came out, people stuck with XP. When ME came out, people stuck with Win98 (and some on Win2k). I imagine this will be much the same.
