My plan is to get an MVP out in the next 3-6 weeks. What should make the first release?

This is fantastic news. All respect for the jerboa devs, but the experience of Sync vs Jerboa is just night and day in terms of usability

Never tried sync. I was a die hard RIF user

Sync is pretty good. It is intuitive and customizable

Sync was great. I bounced between a lot of apps over the years but sync was my favorite with RIF in a close second.

As a nearly decade sync user this is great news. I tried all the big 3rd party r*ddit clients and always found sync to be perfect for my needs. I’ll definitely be using this (even though I like Jerboa rn)once it’s available.

Here’s a link that should take you to the community using whatever instance you’re signed in with:

      !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world

Normally, to do this you just type ! and then start typing the name of the community, then select the right one from the dropdown list. Unfortunately the current Lemmy software has a bug that formats it incorrectly.

      This post: https://lemmy.sdf.org/post/36299

Explains how to fix the formatting, but it SHOULD be fixed in the code soon.

YES! I’m leaving reddit because I refuse to browse without sync. Can’t wait to use the Lemmy app 🙏
