They made it even worse by making
allmost of the rock types also ground types in the beginning.There is so much I’d love to see changed about this series. I doubt anything will ever seriously change to my liking. I think the best thing is to play romhacks or other games that capture the spirit of pokemon.

Is a hack of fire red and it is pretty vanilla, but you can catch all the Pokemon and but have to trade for trade evolutions.
Also, you can choose a starter like normal or go to some kind of safari zone and get something else. I caught a ghastly as my starter.
