I’m incredibly discouraged at the privacy community’s inability to come together for a losing fight.
This is something that I’ve been echoing for quite a while now. Lots of people completely divided. We need marginal increases in privacy for the masses as opposed to extreme live changes for the few.

This would be NSO group’s dream I reckon.
I finished the book and dropped an edit in the original post. It was pretty good actually - minus a few parts.

many creators are moving there.
Maybe a niche group of creators, but no, not really.

1·4 years agoI played Runescape as a kid and teen. I liked the economy aspect of it so much, that I’ve become an economist. The games we play have much more influence on what we do that I think we admit.
I’m sorry, but I have to do this.

Awesome video. I really like Marques as a person. Seems like a good person. I do try to watch less and less of these tech review channels though because it drives up my propensity to consume more than I need.
Lmao, not gonna lie, this one got me.
Great! Thanks for the recommendations!

3·4 years agoThis whole fucking thing is a grift and it makes me sick.
Already saved! I just wonder how it’s going to work if it isn’t updated? Maybe the author developed it so it always pulls a random work every day?
I use old.reddit.com and I’m ashamed to say that I’ve forgotten about RES. That being said, so have most people apparently. I bet the transition to new Reddit killed a lot of average users’ demand for RES.
Of course they would. Bastards. They’re just going to lump it behind their expensive subscription that gives you access to their games.

I agree. We have all received strange looks and maybe some voiced ridicule because of our views on privacy or open source.
