Humanity has never needed a solid Linux phone and ecosystem, more than it does now.
These are dark days indeed.

This is exactly right. As soon as a company becomes public, it’s all over. Profits at X%, every quarter, no matter the cost. It’s the death of a company.

I have a set of small, palm sized stones I picked out of a local river. Nearly as good as my japanese whetstone progression set. :-) I seriously use the more, and my kitchen knives I can shave with. Feels so… manly :-)

Australia also. It’s like owning knives and forks. It’s a basic necessity

I also agree, but to take it further, I decided I’d had enough of cables on my circular saw. Got a small, lightweight one, and omg, it’s SO good.

I have an older style Breville Stand Mixer. It has attachments like a dough hook, beaters, scrapers, etc. I thought I’d never use it. But! It sits on the bench (must be there for ease of access), and the amount of times I use it is astounding.

Not me but a close friend. Ask away

Germany has just recently relaxed the rules on this and it is now almost trivial to get dual citizenship, especially compared to how hard it used to be.
This might be based on different countries I guess but I know Germany and Australia it is very easy.
I had a project of markdown files. About 400 of them, with about 1200 plus links in them.
The original filenames were changed. The links no longer worked.
The LLM went through each link, and found the new one, based on filename and file content, using its ability to recognise patterns, words, etc etc.
Absolutely saved me maybe a couple of days of manual pain labour, and all done in about 10 minutes.
This is the kind of thing I use it for. Horrible repetitive processes.

I don’t believe that was claimed?
Northern territory also

Is it though?
Significantly?
Hhmmmm

Maps without nz

It’s not significantly larger. Lots of people though.

Antarctica becons

ERM
Texas is larger than Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), but smaller than all other Australian states.
If Texas were a state in Australia, it would rank as the sixth. Behind New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia.
Erm… Not that big

It’s not that big mate

Pretty close then. Interesting. Thanks for the stats.

I believe Trumptopia is about the same size physically as Australia.
Same thing.
Big city. Lock.
Small town. Maybe lock.
Rural area. Never lock.

It’s probably a little bit like when people used to copy tapes of their favourite artists in the 80s. And then that was just for private use and home projects.
But this is next level.
Thank the gods. Nobody wants that proprietary walled garden in Debian.
It’s just a tool for Ubuntu to control, and maybe even sell itself one day to Goog’s or MS or similar.
Don’t want it in Debian.
