I haven’t used Vivaldi for a long time. I did use them for 2 years? back when they started. Vivaldi is definitely not a minimal browser even from the start. They were started by ex opera devs when opera was sold to a Chinese company.

It’s too bad to see your experience with Vivaldi like this. I actually liked it back then. I think I was having trouble with ad-blocking as well so back then I changed to brave for a while.

Currently I’m using zen browser. I don’t remember how long I have been using zen. It being a Firefox based browser but have quite a few features from Vivaldi is the reason I use zen. Off the top of my head, the features overlap that I use is the side by side tab splitting, tab bar at the side, and a glance feature where you can open a URL as a pop up kind of.

catbox.moe works too. Although files uploaded anonymously that have not had a download/hit in over 2 years will be removed from Catbox.. which is weird that was not the default since the beginning considering they’re not like other image hosting sites size and funding.

This is what I use on my phone. I’m in love with Zen for desktop though. Love what they change Firefox into sort of Arc browser before Arc went AI slop machine.
