We’ve been watching the literal play out of the perfect as the enemy of the good for the last decade, and almost nobody has picked up on it, and we still have all of these stupid-ass divides when, in general, our goals align and we could worry about perfectionism after we’ve gotten rid of the cancer.

This person is either a paid shill or they’re just trolling and trying to say the most inflammatory things they can so that they can get a little dopamine rush from it. Either way, they are very sad people.

I’ll be honest with you, did not read the whole thing because of the subject matter.

The main thing about writing is to write, so obviously you can write.

But you need to think of things that people want to read and write that.

One of my favorite childhood authors, Brian Jacques, wrote a book called Redwall, and the first 80% of the book you could tell by reading the writing that he struggled with every single step along the way.

It was tedious reading what he wrote. But once he had written the first 200 pages or so, it all gelled together, and he found his stride, and all of the rest of his books zoom and flow.

If you want to see if you can be a good writer, write. If you reach the point where your text flows and zooms, then you’ve got it.

For me, it depends on the authenticity.

There’s too many people that talk God this and God that, because they’ve been told that’s what they are supposed to do as a God person.

But then their actual actions are not what a god person is supposed to be.

I’ll take a 10% Christian that walks the walk 10% of the time over a 100% Christian that walks the walk 10% of the time any day of the week.

I am a bit of a fan of using Proxmox. It’s a bit complicated, but the fact that it allows you to strictly apportion your resources to specific tasks and then wipe and reinstall just that one section without affecting the others can be really fun and useful.
