You need to put the .css file directly into the extra_theme folder. As for documentation and how to make them I didn’t find much myself so I did some trial and error with another person’s custom theme. I’ve got some commented stuff at the bottom of our instance’s theme if that’s of any help.
The PreSequel and Wonderlands are both great too
I think this one is a better option if you’re concerned about performance but either this or the i5 16GB are both good. The T14 will just weigh a bit more and be a little thicker but it’s not much a difference unless you’re carrying it around all the time.
I’ve used OBS on desktop PCs with a 7th gen CPU without noticeable issues for work. I can’t say for certain but you should be fine with that laptop for your needs.
I think it’s an alright deal for the $345 one. More than Ebay prices but used Thinkpads are definitely worth it. I don’t think it’s worth going for the i7 for that much more if you’re just doing office type work.
For video recording I use OBS and for zip files I use 7-Zip
You’re already paying a car tax through income tax which goes to fund public roads that are predominantly worn out by private vehicles.
Unfortunately, a lot of economic growth historically has been tied to increased fossil fuel usage so until we can decouple the two through cleaner energy sources, the only way to maintain living standards in rich countries is the continued reliance on fossil fuels, plastics etc.
That is not to say that this is an issue that regular people need to address on an individual level but that the move toward a less poluted world involves a decreased dependence on poorer countries for the production of goods that exposes them to the majority of the health risks and harms associated with industrialization. This will most likely impact your way of life if you live in a rich country because you depend on these processes even if you’re locally poor yourself.
There is a whole other discussion to be had about wealth inequality within countries and on a global scale and how neither you nor someone from a poor country should have to worry about being able to afford a dignified, healthy life.
So I guess since we’re not wearing masks anymore we should focus on decreasing the main source of CO2 in cities being cars and other modes of transport that run on fossil fuels and impact air quality and by extension cognitive ability. Would you agree?
The counter strike twitter has been pulling this shit for a while ever since source 2 rumors started picking up steam so I wouldn’t get my hopes up
Can’t go wrong with a used T series from Ebay that’s a couple years old. A quick search shows that you can get something like this for 320USD from a reputable seller:
Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U 2.10 GHz with Radeon Graphics 16GB 256GB
8GB is too little RAM these days otherwise I would also recommend the X13 model but those start at like 600USD for the 16GB models.
A podcast that covered the topic said that the plan was more expensive per student that what the state’s existing housing designs cost to build. Also, his donation only covered like 20% of costs.
He also tried to design a windowless mega-dorm as a weird social experiment of sorts. All around great guy
In his October 25 resignation letter to UCSB Campus Architect Julie Hendricks, Dennis McFadden ― a well-respected Southern California architect with 15 years on the committee ― goes scorched earth on the radical new building concept, which calls for an 11-story, 1.68-million-square-foot structure that would house up to 4,500 students, 94 percent of whom would not have windows in their small, single-occupancy bedrooms.
The idea was conceived by 97-year-old billionaire-investor turned amateur-architect Charles Munger, who donated $200 million toward the project with the condition that his blueprints be followed exactly. Munger maintains the small living quarters would coax residents out of their rooms and into larger common areas, where they could interact and collaborate.

Thankfully it did not get approved.
According to the study, photosynthesis in tropical trees begins to fail at about 46.7 degrees C (116 degrees F)
In a typical year, only around 0.01 percent of the leaves in the upper canopies surpass the temperature at which photosynthesis starts to fail. The global temperature increase that is associated with these changes is around 4 degree Celsius, which is currently in line with worst-case scenario projections.
The political compass isn’t real
we didn’t ‘sell’ the monoblock, but rather auctioned it for charity due to a miscommunication
I don’t think you’re making the point you think you’re making

I mostly picked it back up to have access to the PoGo exclusive shinies (Mew, Jirachi, Meltan/Melmetal, Genesect and Deoxys) but I just spoof instead (trying to play in negative temps outside of a city is no fun) and just trade cool stuff to friends (who live in different places so I can’t even trade with them legitimately if I wanted to).
Another example of bullshit is the PAID shiny Mew ticket. Even after you pay for it you still need to complete a potentially ridiculous requirement of completing the kanto dex. Which would be fine if they didn’t geolock Kangaskhan to Australia (outside of events in the past?) so you would be shit out of luck if you didn’t either already have one or knew someone you can meet up with in real life that did.
As for your 2016 mons, the first 9 or so you trade will be guaranteed to be lucky meaning an IV floor of 12/12/12 or 80% (and half stardust cost) so you would ideally trade them for something strong and/or shiny like a shiny legendary or strong mega/dragon/top within its type pokemon. All 2016 pokemon have like a 75% of making a trade lucky so they’re all valuable. Another trick to get people to nag their friends and family to start playing again.
I played in 2016 and started playing again in 2023 and I was surprised at how little had changed but its par for the course for the pokemon franchise.
Almost all your other grievances are partly due to how mobile games are monetized and how much of it relies on fear of missing out (applies to regular pokemon events too). Pokemon Go is a constant stream of FOMO to try and get you to spend money when there’s barely any payoff. A pokemon you can catch in the wild can already be 87% of the way to a perfect pokemon you spend months (years?) getting stardust, candy and XL candy to max out.
I’ve curated a list based on my own preferences. A couple caveats are that I haven’t played most of them, some stuff like DBZ and Yugioh are whatever if you’re not into those franchises and some stuff has better ports elsewhere and isnt included: https://pastebin.com/Fv2RtN61
